Notice the difference between the pedestrian signs in the residential 15th district (no pictogram) and the busy business area in the 9th district !

When walking on the sidewalks, for once take a look down instead of looking in front of you. You will be amazed at the huge number of dates inscribed in the pavement ! We could make a whole map tracing time and space on the streets !

If you're going or coming (arrivée and départ, the names of the two streets surrounding the train station ), you are always welcome at place Montparnasse Bienvenüe (which literally means welcome in french, and also the name of the french engineer who this place was named after).
